The Sociology Colloquium – Family and Work took place on July 22, 2025. A special guest speaker was family sociologist Dr. Pei-Chun Ko, who presented her work on “Family ties, kinship deprivation, and loneliness in older Australians.”

March 24-26

The 2025 Joint Conference “Social Policy and Inequality in the Polycrisis” of the German Sociological Association (DGS) was organized in March 2025 by the SFA chair team at the University of Bamberg.

MIG-AGE project partner Prof. Dr. Ba?ak Bilecen (University of Groningen) presented her research in the first colloquium of the Institute of Sociology.
