Self-efficacy

Balancing your studies, a part-time job, and personal commitments can be challenging and make you feel like you have little control over the demands placed on you. Self-efficacy means recognizing your own freedom of action and experiencing that your actions make a difference. This can help you address challenges more proactively, make decisions more consciously, and take greater control over your daily student life.

On this page, you’ll find resources, ideas, and suggestions that can help you strengthen your confidence in your own abilities, deal more constructively with academic demands, and expand your options for taking action.

“Do you want to be there for others and listen, no matter what?”

Do you have ADHD or ADD and are struggling to manage your studies?

In the University of Würzburg’s brochure on ADHD in higher education, you’ll find practical tips on how to specifically integrate learning and organizational strategies into your daily academic routine. Among other things, it presents methods for realistic time management, structuring larger tasks, dealing with procrastination, as well as techniques for focused work and effective exam preparation. The brochure offers concrete, practical strategies that you can adapt to your individual needs.

Weitere Informationen zum BIG sowie zum Kursprogramm finden Sie auf der entsprechenden Webseite des BIG der Universit?t Bamberg.

The BIG program at the University of Bamberg is designed not only for students with a specific business idea, but also for anyone interested in entrepreneurial thinking or looking to discover their own strengths. A fully formed idea or a concrete startup plan is not a prerequisite.

Together with experienced coaches and through interaction with peers, you’ll develop important future skills such as initiative, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. In the process, you’ll experience self-efficacy firsthand: you’ll test your ideas, structure initial approaches, and realize that your actions make a real difference.

Starting a business isn’t a necessity – but the experience of seeing your own ideas grow can sustainably boost your mental resilience and confidence in your own abilities.
